We’ve had a lot brewing here at Cocoa Box HQ for the last few months, and we’re proud to share the beginning of that now. Penultimate 2.0 is out today, featuring many often-requested improvements:

• A great grid list view, for quickly accessing lots of notebooks. You can even sort by title or most recent!
• Improved, faster “classic” notebooks view, with notebook titles even printed on the covers.
• A landscape mode that finally works intuitively with the notebook metaphor— it turns the notebook to the side! Wrist protection even turns sideways as appropriate.
• VGA output! Professors and whiteboarders rejoice. You can see your writing on the big screen in real-time, or just use it for presenting stuff you already have.
• Several bug fixes and usability improvements, notably including faster access to color and pen switching.
