Henry Ford Loosens His Tie; Travels the World
Everyone needs a splash of color sometimes. A new Penultimate update is out, and today you can use colored ink in your notes, as well as change the thickness of the pen. Just hold down the pen tool icon to see the new options. Note takers get their most critical palette: sharp red, blue and green inks. Sketchers get grey tones for shading. Make the line smaller to accommodate precise handwriting, or turn on the thick stroke for great blocky designs and sketches.
We’re very excited about about the improvements in this version of Penultimate, which extend beyond the new pen tools. The eraser tool is much improved, and is now “magically” sized— it’s automatically larger or smaller depending on your needs. (More on this in a later post.)
Fans of the Wrist Protection feature had noted that it was still possible to accidentally turn pages if your wrist was resting on the bottom part of the screen. No more, with the addition of the Tools On Top switch, in the Settings (gear) menu. This moves all the page tools to the top of the page when you’re in full-on notetaking mode.
Finally, we’re extremely proud to have gone global: Penultimate is now fully localized into Japanese, French, Spanish, German and Italian, if your iPad is set to one of those languages. We welcome our international users!
Enjoy. And you can get Penultimate here if you don’t have it yet.
